Dogs, other than guide dogs, are not permitted in the glasshouse. The nursery is just about accessible to adventurous wheelchair users, but we regret that the limited toilet facilities are not. Despatch - We despatch plants at any time of the year subject to availability.See before you buy - If you would like to see in advance the actual plants we propose to supply you, we can email you a digital photograph. Please ask for this free service. Carriage & Packing - We aim to send plants out as soon as practical after receipt of the order. We take ridiculous care when packing plants to ensure that they do not suffer in transit but with large leaved subjects some leaf damage is often unavoidable but does not affect the viability of the plant. If your chosen plants or your substitutes are not available within 28 days of your order we will inform you. We normally despatch our plants by overnight carrier. If you need the plants by a particular time please let us know and we will use a guaranteed service. There is an additional charge for this. Please ask if you would like a quote. Carriage and packing charges: for orders up to 25 kg in weight and no more than 1.2 m long (approx. 6 x 3 litre plants!) £ 11.00 We try and get everything in one box but if because of the size of the plants we have to send more than one box or boxes are more than 1.2 m long there is an extra charge. We will confirm the total cost of your order in advance. We like to send out our plants when they are in active growth to be sure you are getting a viable plant. However, we do send aroid tubers while dormant and if you have other specific requirements and are willing to trust your plants to First Class post we will do our best to accommodate you. Export to EU - It is very simple for us to send plants within the EU and our experience is that plants arrive in good condition after road transport of 2 to 5 days depending on destination. Carriage and documentation costs for export orders depend upon destination and size of order and are quoted individually. Complaints - Plants are checked carefully prior to despatch. If you are not happy with the condition of your plant(s) on arrival, please notify us in writing as soon as possible and within 2 days of receipt. We treat all complaints very seriously and will do our best to rectify any problems. However, we cannot accept responsibility for conditions outside our control or if the plants have not been treated according to our suggestions. Your statutory rights are not affected. |
